Dr. Jenkins is a board-certified rheumatologist and internist. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Jenkins received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. During medical school, he received a Ph.D. in Immunology. Dr. Jenkins completed internship and residency training at Vanderbilt University, followed by fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern. He was named a Senior Rheumatology Scholar by the American College of Rheumatology. He published several studies on immunologic processes in rheumatic diseases while an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern. Dr. Jenkins joined Rheumatology Associates in 1996 and is on the teaching faculty at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. He has participated in numerous clinical trials that have been instrumental in developing new therapies for arthritis at the Metroplex Clinical Research Center. Dr. Jenkins devotes much of his time to patient care.

Dr. Stephanie Hennigan is board-certified in rheumatology by the American College of Rheumatology. She has extensive expertise in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and other disorders of the joints, bones and muscles. She joined Dallas Rheumatology Associates in 2018. She attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and completed her residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She completed her fellowship at the University of California at San Diego. A member of the Arthritis Foundation and American College of Rheumatology, Dr. Hennigan has published many articles and received a number of awards from her colleagues. These include the Travel Award from the American College of Rheumatology Research and Education Foundation for the organization’s 2006 – 2008 ACR Scientific meetings. Very committed to individual needs, Dr. Hennigan focuses on solutions that work best for each patient.

Dr. Muzaffar is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and rheumatology who joined Rheumatology Associates in 2025. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology since 2019.

Dr. Muzaffar obtained her Medical Degree from Nishtar Medical University in Pakistan. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Oakhill Hospital/USF affiliate in Brooksville, Florida, and her fellowship in Rheumatology at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport, where she was trained by a renowned American College of Rheumatology Master.

Dr. Muzaffar possesses extensive experience in managing challenging rheumatological disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, sarcoidosis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), mixed connective tissue diseases, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, and others. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in research in rheumatology and has published numerous articles. Dr. Muzaffar adheres to the belief that patient treatment should encompass not only medical interventions but also compassionate, empathetic, and integrative approaches.

Dr. Sulman Hasan joined Rheumatology Associates in 2025. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. Hasan received his Bachelor's Degree from Rutgers University and then went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine.

Subsequently, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Oakhill Hospital/USF affiliate in Brooksville, Florida. He then completed his fellowship in Rheumatology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Dr. Hasan has been practicing rheumatology since 2021 and is experienced in treating challenging diseases like RA, SLE, psoriatic arthritis, gout, sarcoidosis, and more.

At LSU, Dr. Hasan conducted research and was trained by a world-renowned ACR Master as well as a pediatric rheumatologist. He believes in treating his patients using evidence-based and cost-effective medicine. Dr. Hasan practices medicine with compassion and a patient-centered approach.
